A Merry Christmas Giveaway! {Winner Announced!!}

By December 24, 20137 Comments

Hope your Christmas was wonderful!!
Sorry I didn’t post the winner last night! I wanted to give more time for entries since I know most people were probably busy with family yesterday!

Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS to Debra!!
Debra J Schoder says:

Christmas for me is all about doing Toy Runs for migrant children, handicapped/sick/hospitalized children, disadvantaged children/Elderly/Invalid. I get to ride my motorcycle to do these and help others while doing it! I love the Chris Evert Ride for the kids (to benefit a local hospital). THIS year, I added a ride from Doral, Fl to Islamarada to benefit the children whose parents died in the line of duty (we lost 2 young officers ,one male, one female in a random shooting incident in Miami). It was police escorted and didn’t have to stop at any traffic lights!!! So cool:).
This , to me is what the season is and should be, all about.
Wondeful! Please email me at heather@heatherspeechtherapy.com with your email and contact info so I can send you your LINGUISYSTEMS gift certificate!
Thank you everyone for entering this Christmas giveaway! I hope you all had a great holiday!
Love,
Heather

Here we are! This is as close as I came to a Christmas card this year! We were in LA for Gia’s 6 month follow-up oncology clinic at the beginning of December.  All her numbers came back normal!! Thank you, Jesus!!

Isn’t her dress amazing? Her velveteen pants and dress were both handmade by Lauren Edwards of @thepinkpoppyshop.  She is amazing.  You can find her on Instagram (@thepinkpoppyshop).

Gia was the Grand Marshal last Saturday in our city’s annual Christmas Parade! The theme this year was “Miracle on Main Street.” Pretty cool that our little miracle has touched so many people’s lives!! Mommy and daddy got to ride with her too!  We all had so much fun.
So to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, I decided to do another giveaway! I’m giving away a $50.00 gift certificate to the amazing LINGUISYSTEMS!!

Just a little gift from me to you to say thank you for following my blog this year and for all your support while my daughter was getting treatment.  We are truly thankful that exactly one year later, we are all back home, and Gia Joy is doing well and cancer free! She is getting to live a normal 2 year old’s life now! Everyday is truly a gift.  This Christmas is already one hundred million (that’s a lot!) times better than it was this time last year.  But if you are like we were last year, I pray you would experience the peace and comfort you need to make it though one day at a time.  We know what heartache feels like and it is not something we would want anyone to go through. God bless you all!
Merry Christmas!

To enter the giveaway, just comment below and tell me what you love most about CHRISTMAS or the holiday season!!!

The winner will be announced on Christmas night!! xoxo

Love,
Heather

Seeing the excitement on my young kids faces gives me the most joy. Everything about this season is magical to them at this age! I love it!

I love giving presents to my family and the laughter we share during this season.

I more than likely won’t qualify for this gift certificate since i’m in Jamaica but I still wanted to comment. First I was to say to you mama Heather, You have such an amazing heart, you think about other so much and your posts are always full gratitude and love… I pray your girls will always be as loving and kind as you are!
I love Christmas because it’s our second chance to live! Jesus’ birth symbolizes a new beginning and reminds us that he came so WE could live, we are all redeemed! I also love the yummy food and sweet treats 🙂
Merry Christmas to you all, sending you so much love! xoxo

I think the best thing about Christmas is the ability to be able to spend time with friends and family, reflect on the past year, get ready to enter into a new year. Also, being able to help those less fortunate and bless others around me. There’s no better time of th year!

  • Sharon Swindell says:

Although my kids are older now (teens), I still enjoy watching them open their gifts. It definitely is different now a days, but just as much fun! Nothing can beat spending time with family – both immediate and extended. I just love the hustle and bustle 🙂

  • Kaleena says:

The holiday season is the best time to spend time with family, reminisce about the year, and prepare for new beginnings with the new year!
