Speech Therapy Summer Bingo Game

What did you do this summer?  I will often ask this of my students when we meet again after 3 months apart.  Sometimes talking about past events is hard for our kids in speech therapy.  They often do not yet have mastery of how to use past tense verb forms to express their thoughts.

I wanted to create a Summer Bingo game that would target both regular and irregular past tense forms.  I know school has started for some of you, but it IS technically still summer! Give these a try! Some kids may have gone to Hawaii while others just watched TV at home – either way, you can talk about what happened over their summer vacations.

Hope you like these!

Thank you so much for your free print outs. I have some Amish families that do not have access to computers. The moms want to do something at home with their children to encourage speech. (They also have an SLP come to the home.) Specifically I have a 2 1/2 yo that has had lots of ear infections so his speech and language is delayed. The Amish speak a form of Pennsylvania Dutch to their children (altho the adults are completely fluent in English), so all the activities that I am looking for have to be easily translated. So far I have printed out some of the bingo games. I really appreciate your work!! Thank you, Lisa

  3. Hi Heather,
I could not get all the summer Bingo gameboards to download. It says there is an error. I think this is a great idea and a wonderful website. Thanks for all your ideas and effort!

    1. Hi Cathy!! Thank you! I’m not sure why it isn’t working for you. Let me see what the problem is. If you leave me your email I will email them to you so you will get them asap! 🙂
